Supra Welcomes Stevie Williams!

If you know me, then you know that I am huge Supra endorser.  Ex:

Well, looks like I’m gonna sign a long-term contract, because Supra has recruited Stevie Williams!  Whose Stevie?

Williams grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and started skateboarding at the age of 11.

In 2004, Williams became the first professional skateboarder to be sponsored by Reebok. He was subsequently asked to give some advice for the “Flipside” Air Jordan skate sneaker.

Williams is the owner and founder of DGK Skateboards, a Philadelphia-based skateboard company. In 2006, Williams opened the skate shop L&K Limited in Oceanside, California, together with Nick Lockman, and in 2008 he opened the skate shop Sk8tique in Atlanta, Georgia.

Williams made a cameo appearance in the movie Street Dreams. He also appears in the Tony Hawk’s Project 8 video game, and Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland and made another appearance in the Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground video game which was released in November, 2007. Stevie Williams is also a playable character in Tony Hawk: RIDE.

Now you know.  I can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Fantastic Four…No More?

Fantastic Four #587 is supposedly the death of the Fantastic Four!  Marvel has decided to release the issue a day early instead of, the usual, New Comic Wednesday.  Now, word on the street is, after #588 it relaunches as “FF” #1 from Hickman & Epting and 12 issues later is “Fantastic Four” #600.  So Marvel is definitely gonna do something special.  I for one, will be at The Great Escape bright & early for this one!
