JOE LOVE DA’ CHILDREN!!!  LOL Had to stop by and support some of my students at the Mayor’s Art Show yesterday at the Frist!  There was so much traffic that I ended up taking Optimus (my car) home and taking Jacob (my bike) instead.  The above picture with the monster eye in the middle of the street is a 5th grader.  He has a few anger issues, but we’re working on it!  LoL  As you can see, there is a LIGHT at the end of the road!  The future belongs to the children!

So this isn’t as much of a Style Tip as it is an “I’M BACK” tip.  If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, which I’m sure you haven’t, I had a pretty bad biking incident during the “Tour De Nash” a couple of weeks ago that messed up my leg pretty bad.  I’m just getting back on my feet so I definitely been in the mood to do any posing, let alone put pants on.  LoL  So I didn’t, but this is just a quick heads up from me to you.  Thank you for continuing to grow with me 🙂  “LIVE ABOVE IT!”

The JPSKILLZ Style Tip of the Day!

I absolutely LIKE the Transitional Seasons!  Slight layering, Sleek Jackets….I could go on and on, but we don’t have much time so I’ll get to the point.  You can take 3 simple pieces and be more than ready for anything the day throws at you.  A light cardigan for the morning chill, T-Shirt for the mid-day heat,, and a sleek jacket for…well…isn’t it obvious?  LoL 😉  “LIVE ABOVE IT!”

SHOES: Cole Haan Zerogrand Wingtips $300 | PANTS: Express Khaki Joggers $40 (Sale) | T-SHIRT: Haynes $12 Pack | CARDIGAN: Target by Merona Zip-Up Cardigan $25 | JACKET: Express (Minus the Leather) Quilted Moto Jacket $230

VERSATILITY within the CREATIVE CONSTRUCTS of the MUNDANE!  Sorry, every now and then accidentally say what I’m truly thinking.  In Layman’s terms, it’s all about mixing & matching.  Same look as yesterday, but with different pieces to achieve a “NEW” look 😉 *Sigh* Okay, I see you’re still not following me so maybe this timeless favorite will do this post justice, “Same ol’ sh*t, just a different day!”  “LIVE ABOVE IT!”

SHOES: Cole Haan Zerogrand Wingtip $300 | PANTS: GAP Tailored Tweed Dress Pants $40 | SHIRT: Express Slim Fit Dress Shirt $30 | JACKET: Express (Minus The Leather) Quilted Moto Jacket $230

Who says ya’ need a belt to be a BOSS!?  LoL  As a nice alternative to the ever so popular Men’s Staple, the belt, try this…DON’T WEAR ONE!  Now this doesn’t apply to those who enjoy letting their pants sag.  No.  This is for those who like a nice, tailored pair of pants and want to take advantage of the power of the snug waist line.  Try ditching the belt and watch how it makes any look more casual while maintaining its sophistication.  Exhibit…A! 😉 “LIVE ABOVE IT!”

SHOES: Cole Haan Zerogrand Wingtip Suede $300 | PANTS: GAP Tweed Slim Fit Photography Pants $80 | SHIRT: Express Slim Fit Dress Shirt $40 | JACKET: Express (Minus the Leather) Quilted Moto Biker Jacket $230

The JPSKILLZ Style Tip of the Day!

YO!  YO!  YO!  Wassup fellas’!?  Been a minute…I had to recover from a long week of Nashville Fashion and all the whoa’s that came along with it.  But I’m back!  And what better way to come back than with a nice NEW garment!  Heroes need 2 things: 1. A reason and 2. A SLEEK jacket!  Well, my new leather…well…Pleather Express Biker Jacket definitely takes care of #2.  Yeah, yeah, yeah I know what you’re thinking, “What if it rains?”  Hence the PLEATHER!  Despite popular belief, Pleather is probably a far better option for the average consumer and some could argue PERIOD!  You don’t have to worry about getting it wet, no animals are harmed in the process, it’s actually more durable than leather, and last, but certainly not least, it COSTS A WHOLE LOT LESS!  And remember, you don’t have to spend a million dollars to look like it.  Every man needs a nice Moto Jacket in his wardrobe, you’re looking at mine.  It instantly toughens up any look.  It’s one of the most Manly staples there is!  Heck, I almost bought a Harley too!  LoL  When you do go shopping, keep in mind that you want the jacket to fit snug so go a size smaller than what you would usually wear and there are many designs to choose from so you’ll just have browse until one speaks to you.  You’ll know it when you see it 😉  I paired it with my Moto Jeans and a nice, lightweight Spring sweater.  MAN UP GUYS!  If it’s good enough for The Fonz’ then it’s good enough for me & you!  “AAAAAAYE!”  “LIVE ABOVE IT!”

SHOES: Cole Haan Zerogrand Wingtip Suede $300 | PANTS: GAP En Noir Moto Skinny Jeans $80 | SWEATER: Merona $25 | JACKET: Express (Minus The Leather) Biker Moto Jacket $250
